Hope is greater than fear.

For years, I was afraid of a blank canvas. That's what attracted me to design—the overarching goals, audience, and project briefs that make up the "rules" of design. But I always admired stunning compositions of paint splashed across canvas...Pollock, Rothko, Frankenthaler, Matisse, and Albers...to name a few. One spring, I faced my fear and began painting small abstract compositions as part of the 100 Days Project initiated by Elle Luna. What began as an opportunity to develop a new skill became an outlet to convey emotion through color, texture, and composition. I hope these bring you a little joy, a little hope, a little beauty.
